Type of receptacles specified in residential projects
This is often times a mistake of the electrical designer here in the Philippines. When I started my work for a consultancy firm in the United States, I learned a lot things which our designers most often not considered in their design works. Imagine I remembered one consulting firm who do projects for a high-end condominium projects of a big developer in Makati who does not specify a GFCI type receptacle in kitchen counter. This is code issue. Another issue is specifying a tamper resistance receptacles which I bet, this type is not often in mind of the designer here in the country which is a code requirement.
This is a start for us to redefine electrical design in the country. There is a code however not most important part of the code are being followed.
